It’s a Monday at 5pm, you just got off of work, and you already have a feeling it’s going to be a long week. Or, it’s a Wednesday, and you’re simply looking to break up that mid-week slump by meeting up with a few friends. Whatever the case may be, a good happy hour deal is sure to lead to one of the happiest of hours. Spokane is fortunate to have many delectable options that’ll keep you both hydrated and fed. Read on for local deals as well as a few daily specials.

Cascadia Public House

Cascadia’s happy hour runs from 3-6pm Monday-Saturday and all day on Sunday, as well as social hour daily from 10pm-close (excluding food). They also offer daily drink specials such as $4 margaritas on Mondays and half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Their pretzel appetizer has quite the following; two soft, pillowy pretzels that are flash-fried to create a crispy exterior, served with stone ground mustard and housemade beer cheese (sub cashew queso as a vegan option). It’s essentially a donut in pretzel form, and it’s incredibly tasty.

Safari Room Fresh Grill and Bar

Located inside the Davenport Tower, the Safari Room is truly a hidden gem, as the decor is the closest you’ll get to experiencing a safari in the PNW. Their happy hour is one of the best in the area with half off all alcohol and flatbreads from 4-6pm daily. Each cocktail is carefully crafted; you’ll have a hard time stopping at just one.

Zola has been voted Spokane’s best happy hour, and you’ll quickly discover why whenever you visit. Their extended happy hour takes place from 3-7pm daily and includes various drinks and eats, all for just $5. Stay to hang out and listen to some live music which happens every night of the week.

Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar

With three locations around Spokane, Twigs is a great choice for happy hour drinks and apps with friends, coworkers, dates, or even yourself. Their signature fries with gorgonzola cheese sauce and the mezza platter are two favorites. The relaxed ambience and diverse menu are sure to keep you coming back. Enjoy daily happy hours from 3-6pm and 9pm-close.

Whim Wine Bar

New to Spokane and located inside River Park Square, Whim is exactly the wine bar that we needed. You can pop in all day on Monday and from 4-6pm Tuesday-Sunday for happy hour deals. There’s also a Wednesday date night special which includes a bottle of wine, any pizza, and their signature dessert for $40.

Tomato Street

You get a free slice pizza at the bar during happy hour, need I say more? Stop by from 4-6pm Monday-Friday for $1 off all drinks on the menu, including beer and wine.

The Steel Barrel

This taproom is home to Little Spokane Brewing Co. and Young Buck Brewing, which means you’ll always have a variety of phenomenal tap options. Perhaps the best day to visit is for $3 pints during “Kill the Keg” Thursdays. Also pop by Zona Blanca next door for some authentic ceviche that’s brought right to your table.

Steelhead Bar & Grille

Home of the flavorful smoked steelhead and artichoke dip. Grab it on special during happy daily from 3-6pm as well as 9pm-close Monday-Thursday. Curious about other deals? If you work for an airline, present your badge to your server and you’ll enjoy 20% off your meal while dining in.

Rocket Market

You’ve likely driven by Rocket Market, located on the South Hill, but have you ever stopped by mid-week for a $4 pint? Known as “Tap Dat Wednesdays”, you can enjoy select pints for only $4. Be sure to check their events calendar for wine classes and join the wine club while you’re at it.

My Fresh Basket

Craving a warm meal and a glass of wine without the cooking? Head to My Fresh Basket and load up on your favorite dishes, then pass by the espresso bar where you’ll get $1 off a glass of beer or wine. Happy hour is from 6-8pm daily.

Happy hour with a view! During patio season, enjoy sitting outside along the beautiful Spokane River with $1 off draft beers and specials on wine, well drinks, craft cocktails, and select appetizers. Happy hour runs daily from 3-6pm as well as 9pm-close on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Viking

Seeking a place to kick back, relax, and not have to worry about street parking? Look no further. The Viking will satisfy both your happy hour and parking lot needs. Stop by from 2-6pm Monday-Saturday and all day on Sunday to enjoy $1 off all pints, $5 glasses of wine, and $5 signature cocktails. An added bonus is the delicious pretzel on the menu that’s large enough to share (but you won’t want to).
